Okoume Plywood B/BB 4mm, 3 plies, for laser cutting

Okoume plywood is a natural environmentally friendly product manufactured in Italy using Okoume (Aucoumea klaineana) veneers and poplar core by cross bonding. 

Okoume plywood is lightweight. The density is 426 kg/m³. Face grade B, reverse side grade is BB. 

B or class II – (formerly class B of UNI 6471) “Natural” face, with chromatic variations and healthy knots, suitable for coverings with laminate, pigmented paints or lacquering. Adherent healthy knots up to a diameter of 35 mm are permitted; small perishable knots or cracks, provided they are well filled. Also permitted are low-contrast colours, occasional adhesive stains, well-executed repairs and grouting.

BB or class III – (formerly class BB of UNI 6471) “Open” face, grouted on request, suitable for non-visible uses. Adherent healthy knots up to a diameter of 50 mm are permitted; deciduous knots, cracks, bark inclusions and overlaps. Colours, adhesive stains, repairs and grouting of any extent are permitted as long as they are healthy.

Applications: interior only, laser cutting, wall paneling, ceilings, shop fitting, interior design, and decoration as well as hobby projects. It is used for high-quality Italian kitchens, cabinets, wardrobes, and furniture, as well as any type of caravan or recreational vehicle, tiny homes, houses on wheels, etc.

Processing options: Okoume Plywood can be stained or painted. It is suitable for CNC routing and laser cutting.
