Riga Mel Clear Melamine Baltic Birch Plywood

Riga Mel Clear Melamine Birch Plywood is Birch Plywood BB/BB on WBP glue, overlaid with transparent melamine film 250 GSM for better wear and scratch resistance. 

Description: Birch plywood is harvested in the northern regions of Europe. Due to frosts, this plywood has a very light natural colour. It comprises 1.4 mm-thick birch plies cross-bonded with phenol-formaldehyde exterior glue (WBP glue). This is a high-quality structural and decorative material. 

Appearance grade according to EN-636-2:

BB—Discolouration is allowed up to 70% of a sheet surface. Loose knots and open defects are covered with timber plugs that match the surrounding grain direction and colour.

Applications: ideal for cabinet carcasses, van and RV vehicle cabinets and drawers, shelving, peg boards, architectural design, exterior and interior furniture, kitchen cabinet carcasses, joinery, wall panelling, decorative applications, staircases, partitions, DIY and hobby projects.

Face Grade: BB/BB cross-grain

Processing options: suitable for CNC routing, milling, and drilling.
